Westport Marina is located on the Canadian Shore of the Detroit River directly across from the northern tip of Fighting Island. Our marina entrance is outside of the local speed limits and in fresh open waters away from mosquito infested marshes. By land, we are only 6 miles from the U.S. / Canadian Border making it very convenient for U.S. customers to take advantage of the US$ exchange.

Westport Marina has plenty to offer, with over 150 boat wells, equipped with water, hydro and adjacent parking; we cater to both seasonal and transient boaters. Our complete docking facility can accommodate power and sailboats up to 60 feet in length and 8 foot draft. There are modern showers and restroom facilities for your convenience, and with plans to build a beach volleyball court & picnic area this summer we are improving on Westport’s social atmosphere. Also, for every boater’s peace of mind, the marina is equipped with a card activated security gate, dusk to dawn lighting, outside surveillance cameras, and perimeter fencing.

We are located in the heart of LaSalle (population 25,000) where we enjoy everything a small town has to offer. Westport is adjacent to the municipal park which includes a swimming pool, beach volleyball, tennis, basketball courts, playground & picnic area – all lit in the evening. We also enjoy the convenience of having several restaurants, variety stores, a Liquor & Beer Store, bank, pharmacy, laundromat, doctor/dental offices all within a 3 block radius.
